The setup

Pick your broker

Use the callback URL and static IP shown in the Xutra connection form. Never share API secrets, passwords, or one-time codes.

BROKER 01

Zerodha

Create a Connect app in Kite Developer Console, and enter Xutra’s callback URL and static IP during setup.

    In Kite Developer Console, choose Create New App and select the paid Connect API type. Zerodha’s Connect plan is required for Xutra’s live price feed; the free Personal type does not include WebSocket live updates or price feed.

    Set the app’s Redirect URL to https://cdn.xutra.in/broker-login/zerodha. Copy the API key and API secret after creating the app.

  3. 03

    Register the static IP shown in your Xutra connection form in the Kite Developer Console under Profile → IP Whitelist. Zerodha’s IP setting is account-level; add your own displayed address before finishing setup.

    In Xutra, choose Zerodha, enter a connection name and the API key and API secret, then select Connect Account. Complete the broker authorization when prompted.

Zerodha Connect API is required for Xutra’s live price feed. Check Kite Developer Console for current pricing. Zerodha allows up to two static IPs and limits changes to once per calendar week.

BROKER 02

Upstox

Create an Upstox Developer App using the callback URL and static IP displayed in Xutra.

    In Upstox Developer Apps, create an app for the API access you need.

  2. 02

    Set the Redirect URI to https://cdn.xutra.in/broker-login/upstox. Copy the API key (client ID) and API secret from the app details.

  3. 03

    Register the static IP shown in your Xutra connection form in the app’s Static IPs settings before connecting.

  4. 04

    In Xutra, choose Upstox, enter a connection name and the API key and API secret, then select Connect Account. Complete Upstox authorization if prompted.

Upstox requires a registered static IP for API order placement. It supports primary and secondary IPs; changes are limited to once per week and invalidate existing access tokens, so reconnect after changing an IP.

BROKER 03

Arham Wealth

Arham connections in Xutra use separate credentials for Interactive API and Market Data API.

    Contact Arham Wealth or your dealer to enable Interactive API and Market Data API access for your trading account and obtain the corresponding API key and API secret pairs.

  2. 02

    When creating/configuring the broker API keys, register the static IP shown in your Xutra connection form. Confirm with Arham that it is allowlisted for both API services.

  3. 03

    In Xutra, choose Arham Wealth and enter a connection name, Interactive API key and secret, and Market Data API key and secret. Use your displayed static IP when configuring the broker keys.

  4. 04

    Select Connect Account and check that both trading and market data access are enabled for the account.

Arham issues two credential pairs for the Xutra connection. Confirm the exact key generation and IP allowlisting steps with Arham or your dealer, since its public setup instructions may vary by account.

BROKER 04

Groww

Create API credentials from Groww’s Trading API Keys page and register Xutra’s static IP before connecting.

Generate credentials and connect

    Sign in to Groww and open Trading APIs / API Keys. Choose Generate API key, name the key, and finish the prompts to create an API key and secret.

  2. 02

    In the Groww API Keys dashboard, choose Add static IP and register the static IP shown in your Xutra connection form. Save the change before connecting.

  3. 03

    In Xutra, choose Groww and enter a connection name, the API key, and API secret. The key and secret flow may require daily approval on Groww’s Cloud API Keys page.

    Select Connect Account and approve the API access on Groww if asked.

The Xutra dialog requires an API key and API secret. The screenshot specifies a paid Groww Trading API plan at ₹499/month plus taxes; verify current pricing and plan requirements in your Groww account.

Static IP, simply

Allowlist the IP that sends your orders.

When creating broker API keys, allowlist the static IP displayed in your Xutra connection form. Each user should use the IP shown in their own form; do not copy an address from another account or from this guide.

For Zerodha and Upstox, also paste the exact Redirect URI shown in Xutra into the broker app settings. The redirect must match character for character.

Some brokers restrict how often an IP can be changed or require a paid API plan. Check the current broker policy before saving API settings. If a broker’s setup flow differs from this guide, contact its API support or your dealer.
